When a company manages your event
Your planner sets things up. You look after your guests and seats. Here's how.
Who it's for: An event company runs your event on PreSeated and invited you as the host.

Accept your planner's invite
Your planner sends you an invite link. Open it, confirm your mobile number and tap Continue.
Choose a password and tap Save & continue.

Sign in and open your event
Get the PreSeated app and sign in with your mobile number and password.
In Your events, your event sits under your company's name, with a HOST chip. Tap it.

You see what your planner allows
Your planner decides what you can change. The app only shows the buttons you're allowed to use.
Missing a button you need? Ask your planner to switch it on.

Collect RSVPs and add guests
In Event, share the RSVP LINK with your guests.
In Guests, tap Add guest to add people yourself, From my contacts or Type it in.

Seat your guests
Most companies build the tables and let you do the seating.
In Guests, tick parties, tap Assign to table and pick a table.

If the seating is locked
When the seating is final, your planner may lock it, for example before printing seat cards.
You'll see a banner. You can still see everything and check guests in. To change something, ask your planner. They can unlock it.

Add a co-host and helpers
If your planner allows it, Manage Team is in the Event tab. Look up a mobile number, then tap Add as host or Add as helper.
Send them the invite message the app gives you.

On the day
Hosts can always check guests in, even when the seating is locked.
In Guests, tap the scan button next to the search box, or tap a guest.

The app only shows you what your role allows, so a missing button usually means one of these.
You can
- Share the RSVP link
- Add guests and seat them, when your planner allows
- Add a co-host and helpers, when allowed
- See everything about your event
- Check guests in on the day
You can't
Change the date, seating type or number of guests
Ask your planner.
Change guests or seats while the seating is locked
Your planner locked it. Ask them to unlock it.
Set up tables, unless your planner turns it on
Most companies build the tables for you.

Questions
Often asked
Why can't I set up tables?
Your planner builds the tables for most events. You can still seat guests at them.
The seating is locked, but I need one change.
Message your planner. They can unlock it, make the change, or let you do it.
Can I see other events from the company?
No. You only see the events you were invited to.
