Helping on the day
Checking guests in takes one tap. Here's everything you need for the door.
Who it's for: The host or planner added you as a helper.

Step 1 of 7
Open your invite and set a password
Open the invite link you got on WhatsApp. Confirm your mobile number and tap Continue.
Choose a password and tap Save & continue.

Sign in and open the event
Get the PreSeated app and sign in with your mobile number and password.
Your event has a HELPER chip. Tap it and the check-in list opens.

Before the day, just look
You can look through the list any time. Check-in only opens on the event day.

Tap a guest to check them in
Find the guest with Search name or phone, or scroll. Tap their name to check them in.
Checked-in guests turn pale, so the ones still coming stand out. Not in yet counts who hasn't arrived.

Or scan their QR code
Guests have a QR code in their RSVP message. Tap the scan button next to the search box and point it at the code.
Their party comes up. Tap Check In.

Checked in the wrong person?
Tap them again in the list to undo it.
If you scanned them, the app shows Already Checked In. Tap Undo Check-In.

Guest not on the list?
If a QR code shows No Matching Guest, tap Search manually instead and look for their name or phone number.
Still not there? Helpers can't add guests. Ask the host or planner. They can add the guest in a few seconds.

Questions
Often asked
Why can't I tap anyone?
Check-in only opens on the event day. Before that you can only look at the list.
The scanner won't open.
Allow the camera for PreSeated in your phone's settings, or just search for the guest by name.
A guest has a different number of people.
Check them in and tell the host or planner. They can change the pax count.
